Zane Malik is a young detective at the Major Crime Squad in Sydney, Australia. He’s also a Muslim, in a post-9/11 world where such an identity automatically arouses suspicion and fear. Malik and his team work together to solve a variety of cases involving people who represent a cross-section of modern Australia. This award-winning series explores the fear and mistrust that exist between East and West, between Muslim and non-Muslim, and between people of different cultures whose lives are irrevocably intertwined.

Season 2- A car bomb explodes and is immediately attributed to the work of Islamic extremists. A joint task force is formed to deal with the case, but Malik has his doubts and begins to suspect that the motive for the murder was something quite different. When he discovers that issues of national security may have played a part in the killing, Malik must go undercover to unravel the conspiracy and prevent the looming threat of more attacks.

Season 3- The sophisticated holdup of an armored car leaves four dead and scores wounded. Malik and the Major Crime Squad find evidence linking the $36 million heist to veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. As he gets closer to the truth, Malik’s family is threatened and he knows he must be willing to sacrifice everything to solve the mystery and bring the perpetrators to justice.
